Purchase Directions

  1. Go to http://aet.aviationtrainingmall.com.
  2. Click on the Register button register and create your username and password.
  3. If you are registering for the first time, look for account confirmation/activation email in your inbox. If you do not see it immediately, check your Spam mail folder.

  4. Follow the instructions to confirm your email address.
  5. Log in using your new Username.
  6. You are now at a Home Page that has a Practice Placement Test button. Click on this button and take the untimed Practice Test. This will help you score higher on the 60-minute Placement Test because you have time to read the directions slowly and see the types of questions that you will be asked. You will also see how to score each section. There are only a few questions in each section. You are now ready for the actual test.
  7. Go to “Catalog” tab catalog tab, and click “Buy” in front of “A Placement Test” – pay using a charge card or with a PayPal account. The price is $75 (US).
  8. After you buy the placement test you will be taken to the test’s home page. Read all of the directions on this page. Check the computer settings link to make sure your computer will give you the correct performance.
  9. When you are ready,under Begin Test click on the "Enter" button enter.
  10. As you finish each section, make sure you hit the button “Score Exam” Score Exam. Move on to the next section. You have 4 sections to complete in 60 minutes.
  11. Within 24 hours, you will receive an email that gives you your test results and recommends the skill level course you should buy.
  12. Go back to the Catalog tab, scroll down to the course and buy that course. Follow the directions.
